Eastover, Lenox MA as an example ecological site and sitting in the environmentally sensitive area, Eastover walks its own talk. After 4 years in design and permitting, one year in construction, Eastover’s state of the art eco-water reclamation system will be in commission this spring, it’s a facility that can greatly add values in educational tours, planting the seeds of taking responsibility not only our own health, but also planet health.
Such eco-water treatment plant do not use any chemicals, key treatment components are natural enzyme made from kitchen scrap and tropical plants that are planted on little gravel beds and housed in a gigantic green house, its 8 feet deep roots doing all the work of purifying the water. No CO2 emission, zero chemical use, very limited energy consumption. The reclaimed water is drinking water quality, feeds back to the 600 acre forest, beaver ponds, wet land that’s in walking distance from the relatively small human habilitation area compare to the large forest under its stewardship.

Tally Ho Entertainment/workshop Venue
Located just walking distance from the Mansion is our newly renovated, multi-purpose entertainment venue known as Tally Ho, an iconic gathering place loved for decades by people from the Berkshires and beyond. Tally Ho offers the largest indoor space in Berkshire County, with over 9,000 sq. ft. suitable for receptions, conferences, weddings, lectures, workshops, performances and events of all kinds.
