Art Festival
From 4th of July weekend to Thanksgiving weekend, the 1st Annual Eastover Summer-Long Arts Festival opens the door to the world of art from around the globe!
It just got extended to Thanksgiving weekend. Please note its not at every weekend, but on special event weekend. The next coming up date is September 15th and 16th, a two day Rock N Roll festival. On that weekend we are calling artists of all medie to sign up for art show and art sell.
Eastover’s opening is featuring six months of Arts Festival attractions with a distinctively solid look at the international world of art. Visual arts from small to enormous sculpture installations will be on display. Active Arts will also be present for a variety of day and night, indoor and outdoor performances of dance and music performances, demonstrations by numerous visual artists and crafts people.
Special nights performances will be presented on-stage at Tally Ho, featuring different Artists from all around the globe and a wide variety of flavors including: Chamber Music, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Rock… even Ball Room Dancing!
Spectators are invited to participate. Try your hand at ink brush calligraphy. Take a turn at the potter’s wheel. Hammer out decorative shapes in cast iron. Every week features different attractions and activities.
The Festival’s many artists’ booths will feature work in ceramics, glass work, paintings, drawings, ink brush work, calligraphy, jewelry and wearable art. An outdoor sculpture exhibition area will display larger installations to be prominently viewed within the grounds.
This is all about diversity! A multicultural dimension will grace the grounds with mediation artists from around the globe will demonstrate a wide variety of forms including Tai Chi, Yoga and dramatic demonstrations choreographed Kung Fu!
